Campinha Bacote’s cultural competence model is a nursing theory that aids nurses in this process.”The nurse has for duty to elaborate an assessment for the patient that allows the nurse to examine the patient in point of view, ethnic , socioeconomic background race or culture. That allows the nurse to provide appropriate and better care to the patient without discrimination.In nursing practice, cultural competent plays an important in the plan of care.
